Football Recap: East Chapel Hill Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for East Chapel Hill's offense. They were dealt a 51-0 defeat at the hands of the Hillside Hornets on Friday. The Wildcats have struggled against the Hornets recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Leading Hillside to victory were Daniel Smith and Ke'Mari Marable. Smith rushed for 105 yards and three touchdowns on only six carries, while Marable rushed for 70 yards and a pair of scores on only five carries. Those 70 rushing yards gave Marable a new career-high.

East Chapel Hill's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Hillside, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-2.

As of now, neither East Chapel Hill nor the Hornets have any future games scheduled.
