Basketball Game Preview: Overlake Owls vs. Riverside Rams

The Overlake Owls will head out on the road to challenge the Riverside Rams at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Overlake has given up an average of 52.1 points per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.

Overlake heads in on the heels of a playoff contest on Wednesday. They took a 65-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of Meridian. The Owls were down 56-33 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Meanwhile, Riverside unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 64-57 to Overlake.

Overlake's defeat dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Riverside, their loss dropped their record down to 17-6.

Overlake was able to grind out a solid victory over Riverside in their previous matchup on Saturday, winning 64-57. Will Overlake repeat their success, or does Riverside have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
