Recap: McMichael Phoenix vs. Walkertown Wolfpack
The McMichael Phoenix's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They received a tough blow as they fell 90-73 to Walkertown. McMichael has struggled against Walkertown recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the defeat, McMichael saw an underclassman step up: Brayden Dalton scored 19 points. Another player making a difference was Cooper Kirkpatrick, who scored 12 points.
Walkertown's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Camereon Cartlidge, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 17 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Cartlidge has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylen Wilkerson, who scored 21 points.
McMichael has been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 13 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season. As for Walkertown, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-5.

As for Walkertown, they will be playing at home against Morehead at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Walkertown has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 783 points over their last 11 matches.
