            New Palestine had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with  a   65-55  victory over the Roncalli Royals  on Saturday. The  win was familiar territory for the Dragons, who have now won four  contests in a row.

 New Palestine's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Julius Gizzi, who  went 9-for-19  to rack up 25  points and seven  boards. Gizzi's evening made it 29 games in a row in which  he has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Moses Haynes, who  shot 75% from the field en route to 15 points and six  assists.
 Roncalli's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Joe Taylor, who  almost  dropped  a double-double with 20  points and nine  rebounds. The dominant performance gave  Taylor a new career-high in points.  Luke Greene was another key player,  as he made all 5  shots he took to post 12  points.
New Palestine's win bumped their record up to 24-3. As for Roncalli, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-9.
 Looking ahead, New Palestine will face off against Guerin Catholic at 4:00  p.m.  on Saturday. One thing working in New Palestine's favor is that they have posted at least 55  points  every time they've taken the court this season. Roncalli does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
