Venice has gone 8-2 against Los Angeles CES recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Venice Gondoliers will head out to square off against the Los Angeles CES Unicorns at 6:00 p.m. One thing working in Venice's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight matchups.

Venice is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat Hamilton 78-35. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Gondoliers with their most commanding win of the season.

Meanwhile, Los Angeles CES came into Monday's game having lost eight straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They really took it to University for the full four quarters, racking up a 57-29 victory. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Unicorns had established a 27 point advantage.

Venice's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-12. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.0 points per game. As for Los Angeles CES, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-17.

Venice barely slipped by Los Angeles CES in their previous matchup back in January, winning 57-56. The rematch might be a little tougher for Venice since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
