Preview: Golden Gate Titans vs. Seacrest Country Day Stingrays

Golden Gate has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will take on the Seacrest Country Day Stingrays at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Golden Gate focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 on Thursday.

Last Thursday, Golden Gate strolled past Immokalee with points to spare, taking the game 49-34.

Golden Gate got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jacquez Petithomme out in front who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Petithomme has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Orville Salomon, who scored 11 points along with two steals.

Meanwhile, Seacrest Country Day's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their 15th straight loss. They lost to Southwest Florida Christian at home by a decisive 75-56 margin. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.

Golden Gate is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-12 record this season. As for Seacrest Country Day, their loss was their ninth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 3-17.

Golden Gate skirted past Seacrest Country Day 70-67 when the teams last played back in November of 2021. Will Golden Gate repeat their success, or does Seacrest Country Day have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
