Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Clayton). They never let the Salem Rams get on the board and left with a 27-0 win on Monday. The Clippers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rams, too.

Clayton's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Salem, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Clayton didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 12-2 defeat against Gloucester Catholic on the 16th. As for Salem, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 20-1 loss against Pennsville Memorial on the 16th.
