Recap: Wildwood Warriors vs. Delsea Crusaders
The Wildwood Warriors's game on Monday was all tied up 29-29 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 57-46 to Delsea. Wildwood has not had much luck with Delsea recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Despite the loss, Wildwood still got an impressive performance from Brian Cunniff, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jordan Fusik, who scored 14 points.
Wildwood's defeat dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Delsea, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wildwood will face off against Overbrook at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Delsea, they will head out on the road to face off against Nottingham at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Nottingham will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Delsea surely won't give up without a fight.
