Baseball Game Preview: Toppenish Wildcats vs. Quincy Jackrabbits

Toppenish is on a four-game streak of home losses, and Quincy a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Saturday. The Toppenish Wildcats will host the Quincy Jackrabbits at 11:00 a.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Toppenish lost 13-5 to Ellensburg on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Quincy fell victim to Othello and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Huskies, falling 6-0. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Jackrabbits' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Toppenish now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Quincy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Toppenish couldn't quite get it done against Quincy in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 as they fell 8-3. Can the Wildcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
