Basketball Recap: Lutie Takes a Loss

Lutie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 57-31 to the School of the Ozarks Patriots. The Indians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2022.

School of the Ozarks' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Timba Saffle, who to rack up 16 points and four steals. Josiah Martin was another key player, putting up ten points and three steals.

Lutie's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for School of the Ozarks, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-18 record this season.

As of now, neither Lutie nor School of the Ozarks have any future games scheduled.
