Soccer Game Preview: Davie vs. West Forsyth

Davie hasn't had much luck against West Forsyth recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The War Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Titans at 7:00 p.m.

Last Wednesday, Davie didn't have quite enough to beat East Forsyth and fell 3-2.

Sarah Andrade and Makenna McGowan scored both of the War Eagles' goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Meanwhile, West Forsyth came tearing into Wednesday's game with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.1 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Raiders. Considering West Forsyth have won eight matches by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

West Forsyth pushed their record up to 12-3-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those five contests. As for Davie, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-3-3.
