Baseball Recap: Westgate Comes Up Short

Westgate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They lost 20-0 to the Teurlings Catholic Rebels. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 10-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Westgate's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Teurlings Catholic, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westgate will challenge West St. Mary at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Teurlings Catholic, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Comeaux at 4:00 p.m.
