Laguna Hills waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They came out on top against the Tustin Tillers by a score of 4-1. This was payback for the Hawks, who suffered a 3-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Nic Park spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits and racked up 11 Ks. Those 11 strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

At the plate, Laguna Hills saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Damian Youngman, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Laguna Hills' win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Tustin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5-1.
