When it comes to explaining why Council Grove lost, don't look at Brycen Palmquist. Despite the final result, he went 6-for-12 to rack up 14 points in addition to five boards and five steals. Palmquist has become a key player for Council Grove: the team is 10-4 when he posts at least three steals, but 2-3 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyzer Spittles, who went 5-for-10 en route to 13 points.
