Football Recap: Man Comes Up Short at Home Against Logan

Man unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 28-6 to the Logan Wildcats on Friday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Lucas Lambert and Zo Murphy. Lambert gained 85 total yards and two touchdowns while Murphy picked up 66 receiving yards and one TD. The dominant performance also gave Murphy a new career-high in rushing yards (20). Luvante Kenney got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Man didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 42-0 win against Mount View on the 5th. As for Logan, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 46-0 victory against River View on the 5th.
