Volleyball Preview: Stratford Knights vs. Hanahan Hawks
After both having extra time off, the Stratford Knights and the Hanahan Hawks will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Stratford is no doubt hoping to put an end to a 16-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Having struggled with seven defeats in a row, Stratford finally turned things around against Ashley Ridge last Monday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Swamp Foxes.
Stratford easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-14.
Meanwhile, everything went Hanahan's way against Battery Creek on Wednesday as Hanahan made off with a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hawks.
The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-21, 25-8.
Stratford's record is now 5-20-1. As for Hanahan, their record is now 17-12.
