The biggest upset of the week belonged to Dumas, who took down 76th ranked DeWitt, 41-13.

Warren's Trent Broughton rumbled for the longest rushing play in 4A Region 8 this season in his game against Monticello last week. Broughton's team bested the Billies as he sprinted for 67 yards on the play and finished with 136 in all.

Warren's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Drake Jones threw for 187 and 3 touchdowns and Jaylon Marshall had 77 yards receiving. On the ground Broughton chipped in 136 yards. Darveon Brown helped Warren's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 56 yards.

He went 9-17 with 1 interception.

Marshall was the best wideout in the league this week as the Lumberjacks topped Monticello. Marshall tallied 4 receptions for 77 yards. Brown helped Warren's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 56 yards.

Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Warren's Jones and Brown have proven to be a lethal combination. Jones has thrown for 1,336 yards this season, while Brown, a 5-foot-10 receiver, has 29 catches for 576 yards. Charles Dabner from the Dragons leads the league in rushing with 585 yards.

The top two teams in 4A Region 8 will face off this week when first place Hamburg takes on second place Warren.

The Lumberjacks' offense has recorded 295 points this season, making them No. 1 in the league, while Hamburg has permitted only 92 on the year.

The Lions extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Crossett, 27-22. The win marks sixth in a row for the Hamburg.
