Softball Game Preview: Gallia Academy Blue Devils vs. Fairland Dragons

The Gallia Academy Blue Devils will head out on the road to face off against the Fairland Dragons at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Gallia Academy came up short against Ironton on Thursday, falling 12-6. The defeat continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their meetings with the Fighting Tigers: they've now lost four in a row.

Fairland's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Gallia Academy hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .319. It's a different story for Fairland, though, as they've only averaged .236. Will they be able to contain Gallia Academy's hitters?
