Softball Recap: Foreman Has No Trouble Against Bismarck

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Foreman). They put the hurt on the Bismarck Lions with a sharp 13-3 victory on Friday. This was payback for the Gator Arkansas, who suffered a 4-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

The win made it two in a row for Foreman and bumps their season record up to 3-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Bismarck, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Foreman will host Nashville at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bismarck, they are taking a road trip to square off against Ouachita at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Bismarck has given up an average of 11 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
