Soccer Game Preview: Northwest Christian School vs. Riverside

The Northwest Christian School Crusaders will face off against the Riverside Rams at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Tuesday, Northwest Christian School didn't have quite enough to beat Lakeside and fell 5-4. Lincoln Crockett is probably feeling rather frustrated with he team right now: they lost despite he posting three goals.

Meanwhile, Riverside got the win against Newport on Tuesday by a conclusive 4-1. That looming 4-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Riverside yet this season.

Northwest Christian School's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 9-6. As for Riverside, their victory bumped their record up to 5-7.
