Flag Football Recap: Campolindo Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Campolindo can now relate to. They took a 19-0 bruising from the Acalanes Dons on Thursday. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Dons recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Isabelle Maher threw for 80 yards on ten of 24 attempts. Paige Williams was her top target, picking up 75 receiving yards.

Campolindo now has a losing record of 8-9-1. As for Acalanes, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-2.

Campolindo does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Acalanes, they will face off against Saint Mary's at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers' defense has only allowed 6.3 points per game this season, so the Dons' offense will have their work cut out for them.
