Basketball Game Preview: Moulton-Udell Eagles vs. Twin Cedars Sabers

Moulton-Udell hasn't had much luck against Twin Cedars recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Moulton-Udell Eagles just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Twin Cedars Sabers at 7:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Moulton-Udell is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Keota on Thursday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Moulton-Udell took a blow against Keota, falling 81-27. While losing is never fun, Moulton-Udell can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 323rd, while Keota is ranked 71st).

Meanwhile, Twin Cedars was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 60-35 to Murray.

Moulton-Udell's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Twin Cedars, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.
