Basketball Recap: Natalie Shryock's Big Game Can't Quite Lead North Callaway over Montgomery County

North Callaway lost against Montgomery County two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The North Callaway Thunderbirds received a blow as they fell 45-29 to the Montgomery County Wildcats. The Thunderbirds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Callaway's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Natalie Shryock, who posted eight points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Lakyn Hartley, who went 5-for-11 en route to 10 points and three steals.

North Callaway now has a losing record of 13-14. As for Montgomery County, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-9.

As of now, neither North Callaway nor Montgomery County have any future games scheduled.
