Baseball Recap: North Comes Up Short

North fell victim to East and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 10-0 to the Dragons. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Vikings' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

This is the second loss in a row for North and nudges their season record down to 1-5. As for East, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North will square off against Buchtel at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Vikings are facing the Griffins at the right time seeing as the Griffins are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for East, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Norton at 5:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
