 Parkway came into Tuesday's   game having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They won by a  run and slipped past the Captain Shreve Gators  11-10. Both teams can probably skip cardio this week after making that many trips around the bases.
  Dakota Howard was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.  Chloe Larry was another key contributor,  going 1-for-3 with a  triple, two  RBI,  and a  run.
 On Captain Shreve's side,  Morgan Cyphers stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she went 3-for-4 with a  home run, three  runs,  and three  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Elexa Beaudoin, who  scored two  runs while going 3-for-5.
 Even though they lost, Captain Shreve was hitting in the alleys and  finished the game with four  doubles. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Parkway only hit a.
 Parkway's victory bumped their record up to 7-13. As for Captain Shreve, their loss dropped their record down to 12-7.
 Parkway will head out on the road to  square off against  Airline at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Airline will roll in looking for their  seventh straight  win, something Parkway surely won't give up without a fight. As for Captain Shreve, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Haughton at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
