Basketball Game Preview: Jacksonville Cardinals vs. White Oak Vikings

Jacksonville hasn't had much luck against White Oak recently, but that could start to change on Monday. Both will round out the year against one another at at 4:30 p.m. Jacksonville knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully White Oak likes a good challenge.

It was a proper cat-fight when Jacksonville faced off against Richlands on Saturday. Jacksonville enjoyed a cozy 74-55 victory over Richlands. The win was some much needed relief for the Cardinals as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, White Oak got the win against Dixon on Saturday by a conclusive 66-40. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 20 points or more this season.

White Oak's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Jacksonville, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.

Jacksonville took a serious blow against White Oak in their previous matchup on December 10th, falling 72-42. Can Jacksonville avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
