Baseball Recap: Bosque Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Portales, Bosque was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Pecos Panthers.

Bosque's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Drew Hebert, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Bosque's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Pecos, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10.

Coming up, Bosque will square off against Dexter at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pecos, they will take on Santa Rosa at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight.
