Basketball Recap: Callisburg Takes a Loss

Callisburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were dealt an 89-7 loss at the hands of the Ponder Lions. The matchup marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Callisburg's defeat dropped their record down to 16-13. As for Ponder, the victory (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 26-4.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Callisburg Wildcats take on the Pilot Point Bearcats at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Ponder does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
