Basketball Recap: Stephenville FAITH Takes a Loss

Stephenville FAITH was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They took a 47-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of Non Varsity Opponent. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 49-37 back in November.

Despite the loss, Stephenville FAITH saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Seven Baker posted 16 points. That was a full 44.4% of Stephenville FAITH's points, marking the third time in a row he's had more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Waylon Morris, who scored six points.

Stephenville FAITH's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13.

Stephenville FAITH didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 76-27 loss against Nazarene Christian Academy on the 17th. Non Varsity Opponent has also already played their next match, a 60-43 victory against Johnson County Sports Association on the 17th.
