Soccer Recap: Modesto Comes Up Short

After flying high against Bret Harte last Monday, Modesto came back down to earth. The Panthers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Turlock Bulldogs on Thursday. Modesto haven't had much luck with Turlock recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Modesto's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5-3. As for Turlock, they now have a winning record of 3-2-4.

Modesto didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Enochs on the 13th. As for Turlock, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Downey on the 13th.
