Collinsville was sadly handed a loss on Friday, but John Thomas did his best to prevent it. Thomas turned in his biggest game of the season, picking up a sack and making six total tackles (3.0 for loss). He has been hot recently, having posted five or more total tackles the last four times he's played.

Looking ahead, Thomas and Collinsville will be playing in front of their home fans against Cahokia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Comanches will enter the matchup having just beaten Centralia, so the Kahoks will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
