Machias strolled into their game on Wednesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They put the hurt on the Woodland Dragons with a sharp 10-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won five contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Machias pushed their record up to 8-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Woodland, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.
