While Powell's win against South-Doyle wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Panthers' pitchers stepped up to hand the Cherokees a 2-0 shutout on Wednesday. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Cherokees recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.
