Volleyball Recap: Camp Point Central Comes Up Short

Camp Point Central was the 2-0 winner over Rushville-Industry when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers fell 2-0 to the Rockets on Thursday.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-15.

Rushville-Industry's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Devin Vogler led the charge by getting eight kills and four digs. Becca Lewis was another key player, getting nine digs.

Camp Point Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Rushville-Industry, they pushed their record up to 1-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Camp Point Central will take on Liberty at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rushville-Industry, they will take on Barry Western in a tournament on Wednesday.
