Holly is a perfect 7-0 against Swartz Creek since May of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Bronchos will be playing in front of their home fans against the Dragons at 4:00 p.m. Holly has given up an average of 9.8 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Holly is headed into Monday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Thursday. They came up short against Fenton, falling 17-2.

Holly saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Evelyn Miller, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run.

Meanwhile, Swartz Creek earned an 8-4 win over Hillman on Saturday.

Avery Ludwig was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching six innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. Ludwig was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Raeleigh Genovesi was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four runs and one RBI. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Madeline Pier, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI.

Swartz Creek kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in five consecutive games.

Swartz Creek's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-7. As for Holly, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9.

Holly beat Swartz Creek 7-3 in their previous meeting last Thursday. Do the Bronchos have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Dragons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
