On Thursday Chase Andress struck out six batters over 2.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. The effort marked the most strikeouts Andress has had since back in March. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his fifth in a row with less than one earned run. For the season, he has an ERA of 1.66 over 25.3 innings pitched.

Looking ahead, Andress and Wharton will face off against Wiregrass Ranch at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats are 9-1 against the Bulls going back to March of 2016, a lead they'll look to extend.
