Liberty strolled into their game on Wednesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 12-7 W against the Shalhevet Firehawks. The 12-point effort marked the Lions' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Liberty's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Shalhevet, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Liberty didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 63-7 victory against Emerald on the 10th. As for Shalhevet, they will welcome Yeshiva University of Los Angeles (YULA) at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday.
