Basketball Recap: Clay Comes Up Short

Clay played a tough game on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 57-21 loss at the hands of the Bowling Green Bobcats. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-9.

Clay dropped their record down to 1-11 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Bowling Green, their victory bumped their record up to 4-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Clay will face off against Napoleon at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bowling Green, they will head out to take on Otsego at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
