Volleyball Recap: Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran lost against Heritage back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Cadets fell 3-1 to the Patriots. The match marked the Cadets' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-10, 26-28, 25-16.

Alex Korte paced Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran's offense, picking up six kills. Korte got some help from Mason Pankop and his 17 assists. Pankop also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Aaron Linder, racking up two apiece.

With the defeat, Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-2. As for Heritage, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

Coincidentally, Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran and Heritage will both be playing Fort Wayne North Side the next time they take the court. The Cadets will host the Legends at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Patriots will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
