Basketball Recap: Howard Continues Home Dominance on Friday

There's no place like home for Howard, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Arlington Cardinals 70-39. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Cardinals recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Howard's win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-5. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.1 points over those games. As for Arlington, they are on a 16-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Howard will host Canistota at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Canistota will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Howard surely won't give up without a fight. As for Arlington, they will face off against Clark/Willow Lake at 7:15 p.m. on February 28th.
