Baseball Recap: West Point Picks Up Second Consecutive Win

13 must be West Point's lucky number: they beat Henrico with that score not once but twice on Tuesday. The Pointers beat the Warriors by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 13-3. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 13-3 on Tuesday.

The victory made it two in a row for West Point and bumps their season record up to 2-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Henrico, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, West Point will head out to take on Colonial Beach at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Henrico will be paying especially close attention to the Pointers' contest: after the Pointers face off against Surry County, they'll take on Henrico again at 6:00 p.m.
