Volleyball Recap: Lake View Makes It Five in a Row at Home

There's no place like home for Lake View, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They won by a set and slipped past the Johnsonville Flashes 3-2. This was payback for the Wild Gators, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Lake View took Johnsonville into a fifth set where they got it done with a six-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-23, 22-25, 20-25, 15-9.

Kirsten McClellan paced Lake View's offense, picking up 15 kills. McClellan got some help from Riley Barfield and her 31 assists.

Lake View's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-3. As for Johnsonville, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, Lake View will head out to square off against Dillon Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Johnsonville, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Green Sea Floyds at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
