Soccer Recap: Salpointe Catholic Comes Up Short

Salpointe Catholic came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 4-1 to the Catalina Foothills Falcons. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Salpointe Catholic were already down 4-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Andrew Kisso, who's now up to three this season.

The defeat snapped Salpointe Catholic's winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 7-3 record. As for Catalina Foothills, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-0-3 record this season.

Salpointe Catholic will challenge Tucson High Magnet School at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Catalina Foothills, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 6-1 victory against Vista Grande on the 14th.
