Fort Payne came tearing into Monday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16 points) and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 55-25 victory over the Etowah Blue Devils. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 21 points or more this season.

Fort Payne's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 22.8 points. As for Etowah, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

Fort Payne has already played their next game, a 60-34 victory against Pinson Valley on the 17th. Etowah and Westbrook Christian will compete for holiday cheer at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
