For the first time this season, there was no movement among the top 10 teams in the MaxPreps Xcellent Top 25 Softball Rankings. All 10 continued their on-field dominance for another week.

For the eighth straight week, Norco held onto the top spot in the Rankings, while Pinnacle, Los Alamitos, Hendrickson and Coral Springs Charter rounded out the top five.

There was plenty of action between numbers 11 and 25 as four teams fell from the rankings. One of those was Ohio's Lakewood, which saw its two-year win streak snapped at 41.

One of the week's biggest movers was Hurricane which returned to the Top 25 in a big way vaulting to No. 11.

Also new to the Top 25 this week are Lakewood Ranch and a pair of Texas teams – Eastlake and Forney.
