Presbyterian Christian kept a clean sheet against Laurel on Thursday. They blew past the Golden Tornadoes 8-0. Give Presbyterian Christian's defense some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

Their offense was hitting Laurel from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Zoey Hoffpauir led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

Presbyterian Christian's win bumped their record up to 7-1-2. As for Laurel, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6-1 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Presbyterian Christian will welcome Our Lady Academy at 4:00 p.m. on December 2. Our Lady Academy's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Laurel, they will be playing at home against North Forrest at 5:30 p.m. on December 1. North Forrest will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Laurel surely won't give up without a fight.
