Football Recap: Tattnall Square Academy Comes Up Short on the Road Against Brookstone + How To Watch

Tattnall Square Academy had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were dealt a 49-6 loss at the hands of the Brookstone Cougars on Friday. The Trojans lost against the Cougars in their previous head to head back in August of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 26-15 score last time.

Leading Brookstone to victory were Dillon Terry and Broughton Branch. Terry rushed for 80 yards and two TDs on only five carries, while Branch threw for 201 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 13 passes. 81 of Branch's passing yards were hauled in by Sammie Laboy, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Brookstone has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tattnall Square Academy will head out to square off against St. Anne-Pacelli at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Brookstone, they will venture away from home to face off against Valwood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
