Football Recap: Tattnall Square Academy Starts Season with Defeat on the Road + How To Watch

Tattnall Square Academy had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They were beaten by the Brookstone Cougars 49-6. The Trojans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 21-0.

Brookstone was led to victory by Dillon Terry and Broughton Branch. Terry rushed for 80 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries, while Branch threw for 201 yards and a pair of TDs on only 13 passes. Sammie Laboy was in the mix as well, providing the Cougars with two scores.

Brookstone has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tattnall Square Academy will head out to challenge St. Anne-Pacelli at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Brookstone, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will take on Valwood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
