Football Recap: Tattnall Square Academy Falls to Brookstone in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Tattnall Square Academy had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They were outmatched by the Brookstone Cougars and fell 49-6. The Trojans lost against the Cougars in their previous head to head back in August of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 26-15 score last time.

Brookstone got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Dillon Terry out in front who rushed for 80 yards and two TDs on only five carries. Speaking of playmakers, who could forget Sammie Laboy, who went all the way with a kickoff return for a touchdown.

Tattnall Square Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 28-6 defeat against St. Anne-Pacelli on the 22nd. As for Brookstone, they have also already played their next contest, a 51-37 win against Valwood on the 22nd.
