Basketball Recap: Watts Takes a Loss

Watts was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 41-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oaks-Mission Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 42-27 on Friday.

Watts' loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Oaks-Mission, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Watts will be home for the holidays to greet Bokoshe at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Engineers will be up against the Tigers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 52.44 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Oaks-Mission, they will challenge Welch at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
