Softball Recap: Paxton Snaps Six-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Paxton lost against Crestview back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bobcats fell 8-3 to the Bulldogs.

Paxton's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 7-5. As for Crestview, they moved to 5-10 with that win, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Paxton will square off against Baker at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bobcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Gators have averaged an impressive 8 runs per game this season. As for Crestview, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Navarre at 6:30 p.m. The Bulldogs are facing the Raiders at the right time seeing as the Raiders are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
